 Oil 9x12
Dear fellow artist travelers,
I'm in the midst of deciding which projects to focus on for the summer and fall, and I'd like to get some feedback from my blog readers.
I've received a couple of requests this week to teach workshops in Maine and New Hampshire. I've taught several subjects over the years - from art marketing to landscape composition. I write an instructional column for Watercolor Magazine (4 times/year), and I also have painted under the direction of Richard Schmid and other great mentors - so there are those things I've learned from them that I could pass on through a workshop. I'm most familiar with Oil and Watercolor - I've taught both in the past.
My first question: If you were to take a workshop from me, would you be interested in a 3 day workshop or a 5 day? 3 days would cost less.
2: Which of the following subjects (that I have taught in the past) would you be most interested in?
Art Marketing
Productivity and Low Stress Living
Landscape composition
Floral Still life
Portraiture
Plein air studies/ studio paintings from studies and photos
Thanks for reading. I don't teach everything, but if you have a preference with the items listed above. Please don't hesitate to get back to me. I can't promise to respond personally to everyone, but I do appreciate your input.
Sincerely,
Lori

I live too far away, I think. But please keep me on your mailing list and if ever you do a 3 day workshop on Art Marketing, I may just have to fly up to the N.E.

Although I live in the middle of Canada, I do travel to workshops. I would be interested in Plein air studies/studio paintings. Where I live we have about 6 months of winter (it is actually snowing today) so I have to work inside a lot. I want to become more knowledgeable about plein air painting in oils as well. I enjoy your work and information very much. Thanks for being so generous.

First few things will be things I've learned from the masters I've studied with. Then perhaps I'll do an art marketing series... dunno yet.
